2010 has seen a surge of the trojan back door viruses immitating an anti virus\security tool that installs itself onto your PC.  The program then takes over your web browser and often blocks the user from trying to remove it by disabling various features within windows, it will constantly tell you that you are infected with a virus and various spyware and ask you if you would like to remove it.  If the user says no it will keep repeatedly asking you to buy the software.  Please DO NOT BUY this software, the software is actually the virus, its after your credit card details and will gladly relieve you of the contents of your bank account.

This software will also install a rootkit which even when the virus is removed will usually still be operational on the computer, you can easily spot this if when you are surfing the web your brower redirects to some random advertising website.  This type of rootkit is very hard to remove and cannot usually be removed with conventional anti virus software although it can be done manually usually via a second PC.

Copy – Select the area of text you want to copy with the mouse by dragging the left mouse button over you text.  Then let go of the mouse and hold down the CTRL key (bottom left) and then hit C key.  This copies your given text to the windows clipboard (you cant see this but its there in the background) ready for the next step to “paste”.

Paste – To paste what you have just copied do the following, move your mouse pointer to the place where you want to “paste” the text you have just copied by holding down the CTRL key and then hitting the V key.
